A few months ago I launched the Linez.CC Color Lines Classic game. There is a page about it here. However, I had the feeling that this game is rather suitable for an app. Since I’m rather obsessive when it comes to such ideas, I started to look for ways to have this app developed ASAP. Another couple of months later, and the app is ready for download in the Google Play Store. The game is very similar to the online version at Linez.CC with a few additional features. The interface looks like this:
The core rules are the same, but there are two modes – Normal and Easy. In Normal mode, the game behaves like on the website. The new tiles appear at random places on the game field. The player can see only the three colors of the future tiles, but does not know where they will be placed.
In Easy mode, there is a faint, transparent image of the three future tiles, placed on their position on game field. The player can switch between the two modes via the settings gearbox.
There are also options to disable the sound effects and turn off the animations for the players who want more rapid gameplay. The game features separate stats for the Easy and for the Normal mode.
Currently, there is only a version for Android phones. The Android users can download the Color Lines Classic app within a minute from the Google Play Store and start enjoying the game.
